Choose an arrival plan, not just a lot
Start with the official transportation page and fairgrounds map. Compare the named parking lots, gate locations, walking distance, shuttle or tram service, transit stops, rideshare zones, bicycle parking, and drop-off instructions. Search-engine map results may point to the venue while missing the entrance assigned for fair traffic.
Match the plan to the arrival time and the last event of the day. A remote shuttle can be convenient in the morning but requires checking the final return trip. A nearby lot can still be a poor choice when the exit route conflicts with concert traffic.
Save the details before leaving
Note the official lot name, entrance street, price, accepted payment method, opening time, and whether parking can be reserved. Save the map offline and take a photo of the row, landmark, or gate after parking. Groups should choose a pickup point before separating.
For transit or park-and-ride service, check both the inbound and outbound timetable. For rideshare, use the fair’s designated zone and expect pickup demand to increase after headline events and closing time.
Accessible arrival needs its own check
Confirm placard or plate requirements, accessible lot locations, drop-off access, shuttle accessibility, gate routes, surface conditions, and mobility-rental pickup. The closest marked lot is not automatically the easiest route to every grandstand or exhibit building.
